With this regard the SAMVRUDDHI (Finance Club) conducted a guest lecture on, Introduction to Securities Market and Investors Awareness Program on 14.10.2022 (3.00 PM to 4.00 PM)

This talk is to gain the basic knowledge on the securities market and how the retail investor should invest on various securities and be aware of various unethical and unlawful activities in the stock markets. And it helps to know Trading and investment skills in Financial and Stock market securities. The Finance Club invited all the BBA students to participate in this session. After the session feedback was collected from all the participants to plan events.

Profile of the Speakers:

1. Mr Ravi Jain: Chief Manager

Mr. Ravi is working for NSE for more than 12 years. He started his career with ICICI Bank. He is a postgraduate, specialized in Finance & Banking. Has completed intermediate level of ICSI (Institute of Company Secretary of India), course on Project management from IIT-Roorkee, Digital marketing from Manipal Academy, Certification in Data Science from Jigsaw.

2. Mr. Ravi Uppe:

Deputy Manager, National stock Exchange, Engineering, MBA & a Certified JAIIB and CAIIB from Indian institute of banking and finance. He has 6 Years of experience in banking and capital markets. Currently handling Investor services and Arbitration of NSE-Karnataka Region.

In the event, the guest was welcomed by the student coordinators. The School Director, Dr. Nitu Ghosh encouraged and addressed students to actively participate. Prof. Kavya J and Prof. Nagesha C S (Club Co-ordinators) proposed a formal vote of thanks to the guests and all the participants.
