The Jalandolana and LITWITS-literary club of School of Architecture, REVA University organised a slogan writing competition on March 7, 2019 at the Amphitheatre, CV Raman Block from 10:30-11:30 AM.
Bengaluru needs a massive people’s movement to save its lakes, recharge groundwater through rainwater harvesting systems and recycle waste water to the maximum capacity. With this noble purpose in mind, School of Architecture is initiating a massive community outreach programme titled “Jalandolana” from March 22, 2019. The slogan writing competition was organised as one of the pre events for Jalandolana where students were invited to write slogans to highlight the importance of water and need to save our lakes.
Students participated enthusiastically in the event and soon came up with a large number of original and interesting slogans presented creatively. The slogans will be used during the REVATHON march to be held from REVA Campus to Kattigenahalli Lake as a mass awareness drive towards water conservation. Students wrote slogans in various languages such as English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam etc to ensure maximum outreach to the general public.
