School of Electronics and Communication Engineering encourage research in UG, PG and Ph.D. levels. In UG and PG research, we motivate students to work on relevant industry projects, present the work in conferences which leads to a publication.
Faculty are involved in research focusing on communication networks, underwater communication, wireless networks, sensor networks, video processing, biomedical signal processing, cognitive science neuroscience, VLSI and embedded systems, AI/ML, Nano electronics, Network on chip, SoC design, etc. We have established centre of excellences in microelectronics and IoT systems in collaboration with NXP semiconductors, Robotics and Automation in collaboration with e-Yantra IIT Bombay, Texas Instrument Lab in association with TI India
