REVA Taranga, also known as Fali H Major Studio, nestled within the confines of REVA University, stands tall as a beacon of innovation in the realm of multimedia production and interactive learning experiences. This central studio, built as an extension of the REVA Centre of Excellence for Geopolitics and International Studies is not merely a space but an ecosystem thriving on cutting-edge technology and fostering creativity. With state-of-the-art tools and equipment adorning its premises, REVA Taranga offers a playground for exploration across diverse dimensions of multimedia production.
The Studio was officially inaugurated on February 27, 2024, during a ceremony held on the campus, graced by the esteemed presence of Air Chief Marshal Fali H Major. Joining him were key figures including Dr. P. Shyama Raju, the Chancellor of REVA University, Umesh S. Raju, the Pro Chancellor, and Prof. Madhav Das Nalapat, an Emeritus professor of Geopolitics and International Studies & Member of the University Advisory Board at REVA University.
Inaugurating the studio and extending warm congratulations to the entire team behind the centre, Air Chief Marshal said that the new centre added a golden feather to REVA University’s cap, underlining the pivotal role of cutting-edge technology in education and multimedia production, and expressing his gratitude for the studio named in his honour. “The timing of including this Centre in the University curriculum is appropriate especially, in today’s world order. The world is going through a phase in history where the world order itself is in turmoil. A very complex geopolitical scenario is arising, where economies are either galloping or crashing and many strategic lines of communication are disrupted causing logistical nightmares around the world. In the melee of chaos, opening an avenue for youngsters in International Studies is indeed a significant step.”
