REVA University has been a technology-driven university and years before virtual learning became a learning norm, REVA University envisioned to digitize the entire campus. In 2016, in a digital summit, REVA laid a foundation to make the campus 100% digitized.
By 2020, REVA was leading the transition from offline to online learning amid a pandemic that changed the landscape of traditional learning. With early preparedness, REVA University had adopted advanced learning software that facilitated online classes, assignment submissions, digital quizzes/ examinations, and online assessments.
An LCS system to beam offline classes to students online, ERP to populate quick notes, PPT presentations, key handouts, LMS, and Moodle are some of the technologies that facilitate hassle-free, virtual learning at REVA.
Going forward, the University has equipped its tech facilities to meet academic needs through Blended Learning, touted to be the future of education. To align with the new age learning, the University has already setup 200 smart classrooms, digital library, app-based assignments and so on.
2. Industry-resilient Curriculum
REVA University offers 49 Undergraduate, 28 Postgraduate and 2 Diploma courses along with some advanced certifications programmes. This academic year the University has introduced more than 20+ futuristic programmes that were recommended by industry experts, market leaders and honchos at private firms who see demand for these programmes in the future. Along with such expert recommendations, REVA University used research-backed industry data that further suggests that these programmes would be most sought after.
Some of the futuristic programmes like B.Sc in Cybersecurity, B.B.A.- Hons (Healthcare Management), B.B.A. Hons (Talent Management), B.B.A. Hons (Strategy and Leadership), B.Sc in Medical Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging are introduced for the academic year 2021-22.
Further, the University offers certification programmes that are often conducted in association with MNCs and private players in order to make students corporate-ready.

3. Focus-group teaching-learning methodology
One of the key learning methodologies at REVA University is experiential learning and focus-group teaching-learning. REVA University invites industry experts from various fields to address students and answer their queries and guide them.
Students are divided into specific groups based on their interests- Engineering, Arts, Politics, Family Business, among other groups, and experts from each of these fields address students as per their specific interest. Students interested in Politics will interact with politicians, students interested in Family Business will interact with Entrepreneurs and so on.
4. Outdoor Learning- A unique REVA Experience
Mother Nature is a teacher herself. REVA University believes engaging with Nature ignites curiosity in students and withholds their complete attention, further boosting cognitive skills in youngsters. In its attempt to bring students closer to nature, REVA University has introduced classes at outdoor gazebos for specific courses and encourages outdoor learning.
Spread on a lush green campus of 45-acres, REVA University is one of the very few Universities that can boast of outdoor learning for effective student engagement and knowledge retention. One can see students studying on lawns, preparing for exams under the trees, practising art in gazebos, and learning under the sun. Most often, such outdoor learning paves way to peer learning.
