Event: Alumni Virtual Meet 2021

The School of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences organised a Virtual Alumni Meet on 29th May 2021 through online conferencing platform, Microsoft Teams with the theme Dream Connect at 6:30 pm. The event was a huge success running for more than two and half hours. Almost seventy students registered and participated in the event which in turn to be a memorial reconnected. The Master of ceremony for the event was Infancy Rena, an alumni of REVA University, Bengaluru and who is currently pursuing Ph.D. from REVA University. The event began invoking the presence of God with a song by Prof Somburpa. The School Director Dr. Payel Dutta addressed the gathering. She urged the alumni to contribute in enhancing Knowledge and skill domains of currents students by conducting guest lectures, webinars, and seminars and thanked the University leadership for providing all the necessary support and direction for the college to move forward. She also thanked the alumni for their active participation. The Alumni memorials were displayed in the screen for the recapitulation the alumni to nourish the memories in campus. There was series of Cultural bonanza by the Alumni including singing, dancing and instrumental. The programme was well received and appreciated by the participants several alumni gave their testimonials and expressed their great love and gratitude towards the institution. The School Alumni coordinator Dr. Vijayalakshmi and Prof. Manjunath gave their insights on this day to connect and have fellowship in the upcoming years. The event ended with vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Naveen Kumar, an alumni of Mater of Journalism.
