“An awareness campaign on Waste Management”

The School of Management Studies Danvantari “Eco-Club, REVA university has organized “An awareness campaign on Waste Management” on the 20th of October Wednesday 2022. The program objectives:

• To build a clean green and sustainable earth.
• To minimize the use of landfills for solid waste disposal
• To reduce and eliminate adverse impacts of waste on human health and the environment.
• To soothe pollution effects
• To provide a healthy and sustainable world to future generations

The waste management campaign was decided for the day of 20th October 2022. Students were asked to prepare pluck cards from reusable materials with very attractive slogans which must give more impact on viewers, mottos were to reduce, reuse, recycle, and manage e-waste, compose recyclable waste, save water, and banning of plastic was taken. among all the slogans "SDG" was one of the important ones. There were 17 SDGs interlinked global goals designed to be a shared print for peace, and prosperity for the people and the planet, now and into the future. These SDGs are intended to be achieved by 2030.
