Awareness Program -Millet consumption and its benefits

The School of Allied Health Sciences organised an awareness program on “Millet Consumption and its benefits” on 12.04.2023 at Library Seminar Hall. Various streams- B.Sc Nutrition & Dietetics, B.Sc Medical Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging, M.Sc Biochemistry students of around 60 participated in the talk and awareness program. The crowd was addressed by Dr. Jayashree, HOD, SOAHS followed by the talk by experts of Nutrition on the Millets in Indian diet and its benefits. Two of the students of B.Sc Nutrition & Dietetics gave a talk on the nutritional values and the benefits of its consumption. The crowd had an interactive session followed by the seminar, where they clarified their doubts and enlightened by the nutritional values and benefits of including millet in the daily dietary.
