Certification Course on “Applications of Finite Element Analysis in Structural Engineering Using ANSYS”

Course Duration

40Hrs

Eligibility Criteria

UG, Academicians, PG Students and Research Scholars.

Overview

ANSYS is a general-purpose, finite-element modeling package for numerically solving a wide variety of mechanical problems. These problems include static/dynamic, structural analysis, heat transfer, and fluid problems, as well as acoustic and electromagnetic problems.

  • Ansys finite element analysis software is used to simulate computer models of structures, electronics, or machine components for analyzing the strength, toughness, elasticity, temperature distribution, electromagnetism, fluid flow, and other attributes.
  • Ansys is used to determine how a product will function with different specifications, without building test products or conducting crash tests.
  • Current trends give an enormous opportunity to students and researchers to work on design and analysis domains.
  • This Certification Course helps to gain industrial knowledge on design and analysis by using different working platforms, i.e. geometric modeling, and dynamic analysis using ANSYS.

Objectives

  • It helps to understand complete modelling features in engineering design.
  • It helps to practice different meshing methods (Hex dominant, sweep).
  • It helps to learn the different boundary conditions required to solve industrial problems.
  • It is necessary to understand the different analysis to understand the tool in the industrial domain.

Course Outcomes

After the completion of course certificates, academicians, PG students and research scholars will be able to

  • Learn the modeling of components and analyze and perform validations and helps to use tool for different industry applications.
  • Learn about what is finite element analysis and finite Element Methods.
  • Learn about ANSYS APDL FEA numerical Engineering problem solving
