Student of circuit branch with fundamentals of Digital and Analog circuits.
Design of Electrical and Electronic circuits is time-consuming and technically intensive. After designing the circuit to validate circuit functionality and working, engineers need to test and make necessary changes. Instead of actually building the circuit using real components and boards, the circuit is simulated in a simulation environment. In Analog simulation, one will work with Analog components and signals. In Digital Simulation, work with two discrete voltage levels and digital simulators are relatively simple. HDL such as Verilog and VHDL are the backbone of digital simulation.
This course aims at providing concrete knowledge about the simulation of basic and advanced circuit simulation concepts using advanced simulation tools. The objective of this course is to give a strong foundation on analog and digital circuit simulation concepts. The course focusses on the design and analysis of combinational logic circuits, sequential logic circuits, analysing and designing any synchronous sequential logic circuits, design and simulation of analog electronic circuits.
